History

My photo
MAKE ART
After taking an art class with my son, and feeling very rushed and unsatisfied with the way the class was conducted, I decided to take it on myself to create an alternative experience. One that would be positive and empowering to the child, and within a flexible structure that fits each child's pace. I am a stay at home dad to my son here in Los Angeles, so MAKE ART has become a welcome bridge to enriching his horizons, while bringing together old and new friends. In the past I have taught children art through Puppetry, Children’s Theater, Animation and was also a nanny. I hold a BFA in Illustration from the Art Institute of Boston, and continue to moonlight as a freelance illustrator (see my work HERE). MAKE ART has been growing strong since its first class on July 14, 2010.
